An established and highly successful Principal Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major construction and fit-out projects, with values of up to GBP20m.

The business has an impressive portfolio of high-profile clients across Motorsport / Formula 1, Technology, Commercial, Healthcare, Engineering & Professional Services.

This is a particularly exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on high-profile, challenging projects within the Motorsport environment, alongside a varied portfolio of commercial office projects.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will have genuine responsibility and autonomy, working closely with senior client representatives and stakeholders at Director and Board level.

The opportunity

Take ownership of high specification construction and fit-out projects from start to completion. Deliver Commercial Construction projects valued at up to GBP20m. Work with prestigious clients across a variety of sectors, including Motorsport / F1. Lead project teams, subcontractors, consultants and supply-chain partners. Manage programme, quality, health & safety, cost and commercial performance. Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. Work closely with the Operations Director and senior management team. Play a key role within a growing business with a strong pipeline of work. What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who has worked for a construction contractor delivering Commercial Office Construiction & Fit Out Projects.

You MUST have :

Proven experience delivering commercia officel construction / fit-out projects. A stable career history Reside within 1 hour of Maidenhead, Berks. Strong Commercial Office and/or Light Industrial Construction Management experience. Experience managing construction projects with values between GBP1 million and GBP20 million Construction-related Degree, HND, NVQ or equivalent. Proven experience managing subcontractors and project teams. Strong commercial and contractual awareness. Experience dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders at Director level. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. Purely residential construction experience will not be considered.
