I am working alongside a well established client who are looking forward to welcoming an experienced roofing labourer to join their team. This vacancy will be covering High Wycombe and the surrouding area working in the MOD industry. Please find the job specification below.

We are seeking an experienced Roofing labourer to join our team delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across housing properties.

Working across both occupied homes and empty properties, you will be responsible for completing a wide range of roofing repair, re-roofing, and associated works. You will take pride in delivering excellent workmanship while providing a professional and respectful service to residents and families.

Hours of work: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Key responsibilities alongside a qualified roofer.

● Carrying out roof repairs, including tiling, slating, and felt/flat roof works

● Completing re-roofing and roof covering replacement works

● Undertaking leadwork, flashing, and guttering repairs and replacements

● Carrying out chimney, ridge, and verge repairs

● Identifying and repairing roof leaks and associated timber or structural defects

● Supporting responsive repairs and void property refurbishment works

● Making good areas following repair activities

● Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, including safe use of access equipment

● Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when working in residents' homes

● Accurately recording completed works using PDA/mobile technology

About You:

● Proven experience as a Roofing labourer across pitched and flat roofing systems

● Experience working within housing repairs, maintenance, xjnqpsq or similar environments is desirable

● The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

● Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

● A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service

● A full UK driving licence

● A valid CSCS card

● Working at height / roofing-specific safety training (e.g. PASMA, IPAF) is desirable

● Experience using handheld devices or PDA systems is desirable

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
