The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join an established building services contractor, supporting the delivery of new-build commercial projects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with a strong Mechanical & Electrical background to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, from procurement and cost control through to final accounts.

The Role

Manage the commercial aspects of M&E packages on new-build commercial projects. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports and forecasts. Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments. Manage variations, change control and contractual notices. Monitor project costs, identify commercial risks and maximise profitability. Prepare, negotiate and agree interim valuations and final accounts. Work closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the M&E / building services sector. Experience working on new-build commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services packages. Excellent commercial, contractual, negotiation and cost management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project delivery teams. The Benefits
