Contract Type: Permanent, Full–Time (40 hours per week)

We are a leading Social Housing Contractor seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dedicated commercial team based in Tottenham. About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management and cost control of multiple social housing projects – from initial award through to final account. You'll ensure commercial success by providing timely and accurate cost reporting, managing subcontractor procurement, and negotiating effectively with clients and supply chain partners.

Key responsibilities:

Managing the commercial performance of allocated projects, including CVRs, forecasts, and final accountsOverseeing financial documentation in line with internal reporting schedulesSupporting procurement of sub–contractors and suppliers in conjunction with the Procurement TeamHandling variations, loss and expense claims, and re–measurements to ensure optimal financial outcomesCommunicating project progress to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability

About You

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing or a similar construction environmentStrong knowledge of measurement, valuation, and cost control processesExcellent understanding of budget management, CVRs, and financial forecastingExperience with responsive, cyclical, and planned maintenance projectsProficiency with relevant IT systems and software packagesExcellent communication and negotiation skills
