Location: Based near Solihull, Midlands (Office-Based with Travel Across England)

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts / Project Manager to join a well-established refurbishment and fit-out contractor due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.

With over 30 years of experience, the business delivers refurbishment, fit-out and design & build projects across the Higher Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Public sectors, with project values ranging from 10,000 to 10 million. Operating nationally, they have built long-standing relationships with prestigious clients through framework agreements and repeat business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project or Contracts Manager to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing programmes, subcontractors, client relationships and commercial performance while working within a supportive and growing business.

Job Requirements

Previous experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within the construction industryProven experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or Design & Build projectsExperience managing projects from pre-construction through to completionConstruction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent)CSCS CardStrong commercial awareness and programme management skillsExcellent communication and client relationship management abilitiesExperience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and design teamsFull UK Driving LicenceWillingness to travel throughout England as required

Key Responsibilities

Manage refurbishment and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion and handoverDevelop and manage project programmes, procurement strategies and resource planningCoordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams throughout project deliveryBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholdersMonitor project performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budgetDrive quality, health & safety and compliance across all projectsIdentify value engineering opportunities and support continuous improvement initiativesWork closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project deliveryAttend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior managementBennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
