With offices in London, Manchester and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association, who are looking for a Operations Director based in Essex.

Day to Day for Operations Director:

Contract Delivery: Strategic leadership across day–to–day responsive repairs, voids, and minor works contracts, ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction targets are consistently hit.Commercial Acumen: Full P&L responsibility, overseeing cash flow, cost management, and operational profitability alongside the commercial team.Client Relationships: Act as the key executive contact for housing associations and local authority clients, building long–term partnerships and managing framework performance.Safety & Quality: Drive a zero–harm, work–safe culture and maintain high standards of Health & Safety, compliance, and quality across all contracts.Leadership & Team Management: Direct and mentor a multi–tiered operational team, fostering a high–performance, collaborative culture.Planning & Reporting: Produce and present detailed progress and performance reports to the Board and client stakeholders.Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills (MS Office, MS Project) with the ability to review operational schedules, programs, and resource planning.Benefits for Operations Director:
