Multi Trade Operative (Plastering Bias)Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley, Croydon, Bromley

Salary: Up to £40,660 per annum

Temporary to Permanent Full-Time

We are currently working in partnership with a leading social housing maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Multi Trade Operative with a strong plastering background to join their responsive repairs and maintenance team covering West London.

The Role

Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties

Completing plastering repairs, patch plastering and making good to a high standard

Undertaking basic plumbing and carpentry repairs where required

Carrying out general multi-trade maintenance works

Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fixes wherever possible

Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Updating job information using PDA/mobile working systems

Delivering excellent customer service while working within residents' homesRequirements

Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, housing associations, local authorities or domestic property maintenance

Strong plastering skills with experience carrying out reactive repairs

Working knowledge of basic plumbing and carpentry

Experience working within occupied properties

Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete first-time fixes

Experience using PDA or mobile working devices

NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualification preferred

Full UK Driving LicenceBenefits
