£17.00-£18.00 per hour | Company van | Paid door-to-door travel

Location: Mobile role covering Yorkshire and the Humber

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Contract: 12-week temporary-to-permanent position

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join an established building services company.

This is a varied, hands-on role completing building repairs, refurbishment work and planned maintenance across different customer sites. We're looking for a capable all-round tradesperson who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and complete work to a professional standard.

Someone from a kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, property maintenance or general building background could be particularly well suited, provided they have experience across several trades.

The role

Your work will include:

General building repairs and property maintenance

Joinery and basic carpentry

Tiling and wet plumbing

Plaster patching and making good

Kitchen and bathroom repairs or installations

Fitting doors, skirting boards, fixtures and ironmongery

Completing refurbishment and remedial work

Identifying problems and carrying out practical repairs

Working independently across customer sites

Travelling throughout Yorkshire and the Humber

Occasional overnight stays when required

What we're looking for

Previous multi-trade, property maintenance or general building experience

Practical ability across several trades

A strong core skill such as joinery, plumbing, tiling or plastering

Confidence completing varied repairs without constant supervision

Good problem-solving skills

Pride in producing a professional finish

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away
