We're currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable housing association in Manchester for an experienced Multi–Trade Plumber/Carpenter to join their maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and dependable tradesperson to secure consistent, full–time work delivering high–quality repairs to social housing properties in the Manchester and surrounding region.

Location: Manchester and surrounding

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week 08:00 – 16:30

Duration: 2 Months (could be temp to perm for the right person)

Pay Rate: 19 – 20 per hour (milage paid)

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Planned maintenance in void propertiesPlumbing: Minor repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, and domestic systemsCarpentry: Fitting Kitchens and bathrooms, Hanging doors, fitting skirting, architraves, and general woodworkPlastering: Patch repairs and making goodPainting & Decorating: Internal finishing, including prep and touch–upsEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to tenantsRequirements:

Experience across plumbing, carpentry, plastering, and paintingNVQ or trade qualification (level 2 minimum)Full manual UK driving licenceStrong attention to detail and a professional approachAble to work safely and respectfully in tenanted propertiesInterested in working with a company with a great reputation and working in a role that will make a difference to peoples lives?
