Interim Contracts Manager

Description

The organisation outsources all of its repairs and maintenance work and does not operate a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO). The primary contractor is Axis Europe, supported by a small number of medium–sized contractors.

The Contracts Manager will primarily be responsible for post–inspections of contractor work, with a strong focus on mainstream reactive repairs. This includes ensuring that day–to–day repairs carried out in tenant's homes meet required quality standards, comply with specifications, and are completed within agreed time–frames.

Key Details:

Primary responsibility: Post–inspections of completed contractor work, with a clear focus on mainstream reactive repairs.

Main contractor: Axis Europe, along with a few medium–sized providers.

Working arrangement: Ideally 1 day per week on site, but this is flexible.

The individual will be expected to manage their own workload and balance office–based and site–based working in line with operational needs and inspection requirements.

Flexibility: Essential, particularly in scheduling and attending site inspections as needed.
