Salary: GBP42,521 per annum

Location: Field–based

Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday

Do you have a sharp eye for detail, a solid understanding of building standards, and the drive to improve housing quality?

We re looking for a Home Quality Assessor to play a vital role in assessing and improving the condition of homes and communal spaces – making a direct impact on residents comfort, safety, and satisfaction.

What you ll be doing:

Carrying out detailed property condition surveys and Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS) assessments. Producing clear, accurate condition reports with recommendations for improvements. Identifying and escalating any defects that breach statutory or regulatory requirements. Undertaking Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments when required. Working closely with colleagues to ensure investment programmes target the homes that need it most. Ensuring all survey data is accurate, uploaded, and ready to inform decision making. What you ll bring:

In–depth knowledge of building construction, regulations, and housing standards. Experience carrying out stock condition surveys and HHSRS assessments. The ability to analyse and interpret technical data to make informed recommendations. Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach. A relevant qualification such as HND in Building Surveying (or equivalent). Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use. In return, you ll get:
