Facilities Manager

Location: Liverpool / Merseyside

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time

Salary: 45,000 per annum

Sector: Facilities Management / Public Sector

Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager to support a large public sector contract across the Merseyside area.

This is an operational management role overseeing the delivery of hard facilities services across multiple sites. You will be responsible for supporting site teams, maintaining service standards and ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are completed effectively and in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of hard FM services across multiple sites

Lead, support and motivate site–based maintenance teams

Ensure PPM, reactive and corrective works are completed within agreed timescales

Monitor compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and quality procedures

Carry out regular site inspections and compliance audits

Support planned works, projects and contract variations

Liaise with clients, site teams and other stakeholders

Monitor CAFM systems and ensure maintenance records are accurate

Support budgeting, financial tracking and commercial activity

Attend operational and client meetings where required

Requirements

Previous experience within Facilities Management, ideally managing hard services

Experience managing engineering or maintenance teams

Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance

Experience using CAFM systems

Good Health & Safety and compliance knowledge

Strong customer and stakeholder management skills

Commercial awareness with experience of budgets and financial tracking

Experience delivering small works or projects

IOSH or similar Health & Safety qualification would be advantageous
