Primary School Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant / Caretaker to join a busy Primary School on a temporary 2–week assignment with an immediate start.
Position Details
Job Title: Facilities Assistant / Caretaker Location: Primary School Contract Type: Temporary (2 Weeks) Start Date: Immediate Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:30pm Working Pattern: Full–time Key Responsibilities
Opening and closing the school premises, ensuring the site is secure at all times. Basic repairs, maintenance, and handyman tasks. Ensuring classrooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces are safe and well–maintained. Monitoring health and safety standards across the premises. Maintaining security of the school buildings and grounds. Essential Requirements
Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to provide evidence of a current Enhanced DBS). Previous experience working as a Caretaker, Facilities Assistant, Site Supervisor, or Premises Assistant within a school environment. If you have previous school caretaking experience, hold a valid Enhanced DBS, and are available for an immediate start, we would like to hear from you.
