Contract: Full Time Permanent

Salary up to GBP45,430 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

42.5 hours per week (8–5 Monday– Friday)

Pyramid Plus is a dynamic joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, delivering high–quality repairs, maintenance, compliance, planned replacements, and fire risk assessment works. Serving over 23,500 homes, we complete more than 38,000 repairs, 1,000 void refurbishments, and install 600 kitchens and bathrooms each year. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we're entering an exciting phase of growth. This role offers the opportunity to be a key member of the senior management team, driving the successful delivery of our planning and customer service functions at the heart of our operations.

We're currently looking for a skilled and qualified electrician to join our team in Bristol. This is a hands–on, field–based role where you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across both void and occupied properties.

You'll play a key part in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and ready for residents, whether that's through reactive repairs, planned maintenance, or supporting wider refurbishment projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a growing presence in the area, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that's making a real impact in the community.

Electrical Duties:Responsible for reactive repairs to lighting circuits, sockets, fuseboards and other electrical systemsInspect and test electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance with regulationsReplace or repair faulty components such as switches, outlets, light fittings and circuit breakersWork independently or as part of a team to meet daily repair targetsCommunicate clearly with tenants or residents about the nature of the repair and expected outcomesEnsure work areas are left clean and safe after completing repairsAdhere to all health and safety policies and proceduresProvide high levels of customer care at all timesRespond to emergency call outs when required, including out of hours shifts if applicableTo undertake installation, service, repair, and maintenance of a broad range of domestic propertiesUse relevant IT systems to Manage and prioritise workload to complete repairs in a timely mannerRole Criteria:NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations – to include AM2City & Guilds 18th Edition (If you have 17th edition you can work through your 18th edition)Full UK driving licence with a clean driving recordInspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395)Previous domestic, social housing experienceBenefits we can offer you.25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAnnual Mears Fun Day – Our annual Fun Day is organised as a massive thank you from the Executive team for all the hard work!Volunteering Leave – Mears supports employees to undertake paid volunteering in the community, in support of our social value commitment.Staff perks with Mears Rewards – discounts of up to 10% weekly groceries, holidays, eye test vouchers, Share save scheme, plus much more.Family friendly policiesCompany Van, Fuel Card, and UniformAll our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
