Salary: GBP42,000 GBP48,000 per annum, depending on experience

Contract: Full–Time, Permanent

Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join an established social housing and maintenance team, carrying out gas servicing, repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties throughout London and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a secure, permanent position with a consistent workload, company vehicle and additional earning potential through call–outs.

The RoleYou will be responsible for completing a range of domestic gas, heating and associated plumbing works, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with relevant standards.

Duties will include:

Servicing and maintaining domestic boilers and heating systemsCarrying out CP12 / Landlord Gas Safety ChecksDiagnosing and repairing boiler and heating faultsFault finding on heating controls, pumps, valves and associated componentsCarrying out boiler replacements and heating installationsCompleting heating upgrades and remedial worksInvestigating heating and hot–water breakdownsCarrying out associated plumbing repairsIdentifying unsafe appliances and following the correct proceduresCompleting accurate job records, certification and photographsUsing PDA/job–management systemsWorking professionally within occupied propertiesProviding excellent customer service to residentsMaintaining clean, safe and tidy working areasWorking Hours & Call–OutStandard Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday Friday
