Remediation Contractor | Warrington

A specialist remediation contractor is looking to add a commercial professional to their team.

This is a good opportunity for someone who already has some experience in construction, procurement, commercial support or project cost control and is looking to develop their career further.

You don't need to be an experienced QS or Buyer. The key requirement is having a good understanding of how project costs are monitored and controlled, whether that's through previous work experience, a construction-related degree or a similar commercial role.

The role will involve:

• Monitoring project costs and expenditure

• Tracking budgets and committed costs

• Assisting with supplier and subcontractor costs

• Supporting procurement and obtaining quotations

• Updating cost information and reports

• Working with the wider commercial team to keep projects financially controlled

• Supporting the team with general commercial and project cost management

Looking for:

• Some experience or knowledge of project cost control

• Construction, remediation, contracting or procurement experience would be useful

• A relevant degree or xjnqpsq qualification is advantageous but not essential

• Good numerical skills and attention to detail

• Someone keen to develop within a specialist construction environment
