Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Handyman to join our team on a part–time basis, working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with a one–hour unpaid lunch break (21 hours per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, helping to ensure our buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. The role requires someone who can work independently, identify issues proactively, and use their own initiative to resolve problems effectively. As part of the position, the Maintenance Handyman will also be required to carry out routine Health and Safety checks and report any defects or concerns. Experience in undertaking Health and Safety inspections or compliance checks would therefore be beneficial. Applicants should have previous handyman or general maintenance experience and be confident completing a range of tasks, including basic repairs, minor decorating, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate will be practical, dependable, and able to organise their workload with minimal supervision. This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong awareness of health and safety requirements, and enjoys maintaining a safe and well–presented environment.
