Assistant Site Manager Braintree 3 Positions Available Residential New Build GBP45,000 GBP55,000 + Package

We are currently working with an established residential house builder who is looking to appoint three Assistant Site Managers across three new developments in Braintree, Essex.

Each development will consist of approximately traditional-build units, providing an excellent opportunity to join an established site team and play a key role in the delivery of a substantial residential development.

The Role Working alongside the Senior Site Manager and Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the development, helping to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is confident coordinating trades and subcontractors and is looking to continue developing their career within residential construction.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the developmentCoordinating subcontractors, trades and site activitiesMonitoring progress against programmeCarrying out quality inspections and ensuring build standards are maintainedSupporting the management of health & safety across the siteEnsuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and company standardsMonitoring and reporting on build progressWorking closely with the wider site team to resolve issues and maintain programmeSupporting the project through to completion and handover About You We are looking for experienced Assistant Site Managers with a strong background in traditional-build residential construction.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager within residential new buildStrong knowledge of traditional construction methodsExperience coordinating subcontractors and tradesA Level 4 NVQ in Construction ManagementGood understanding of health & safety, quality and build programmesStrong organisational and communication skillsA proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider site teamA genuine desire to progress within residential construction For more details please contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
