Salary/Benefits: 26k - 32k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a medium-sized Asbestos specialist outfit, who provide surveying and analytical services to domestic and commercial clients. They are seeking a switched-on and thorough Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their successful team. Applicants must hold the BOHS P401 as a minimum, and will be well-versed in technical guidelines. You must be based within a commutable distance to the laboratory, and will be confident working both within teams and independently. Experience / Qualifications:

Hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst It is essential to hold the BOHS P401 Good understanding of UKAS and HSG legislation Excellent time management skills Strong literacy and numeracy skills Proficient using IT software

The Role:

Conducting bulk analysis of asbestos samples, through PLM and stereomicroscopy Logging and storing samples safely Maintaining laboratory equipment and organising any repairs / servicing Uploading results onto the company database Creating and issuing analysis certificates for clients Participating in quality assurance checks Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets Upholding high service standards
