3M MP8746 Portable Video Projector

Could also be used to project Christmas/Halloween graphics etc on to say a net curtain in your window.

This is a 3M MP8746 business Portable Video Projector, so not like the cheap as chips unbranded ones you see, this unit is built for the professional and comes with a remote that even has a built in laser pointer.

This has been family owned video projector which we have used over the past decade or so for showing films off our laptop and using it to research items on the internet so everyone can see the screen.


There are some pictures of it showing the BBC news with the curtains open and also the weather with the curtains closed which of course improves the brightness.

Its not of course HD but is quite adequate for more uses and we have hooked it up to a DVD player and enjoyed many a film evening on a screen thats nearly 70 inches across.
You will need an adapter if you want to feed it with an HDMI signal but you can buy HDMI to SVGA adapters fairly cheaply on Amazon.
The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut.
Lamps for these are still available for around £80 but as this one has only used 320hrs out of 1500hrs it has loads of life in it still.
