Description
An antique circular brass ships bulkhead clock from the early 1900s. It features bold Roman numerals and a polished brass case with a thick beveled edge glass cover which opens and closes on a side hinge. It also has three integrated wall-mounting hooks on the back.
It appears that at some stage the mechanism has been converted to run on battery power instead of its original wind-up movement. There are some superficial marks commensurate with age but it has been tested and it is in full working order, although it will need a new battery.
These clocks were designed to cope with extreme weather and harsh conditions and so they are incredibly strong and robust.
