1930s 8 Day Westminster Chimes Art Deco Mantel Clock Good Working Order

Description

A good quality 1930s Haller 8 day Art Deco mantel clock retailed by F Hinds Ltd and dated 1939. The clock is in good working order and keeping good time having recently had a service it chimes every quarter and strikes the relevant amount of strikes on the hour, there is a silent switch on the side of the dial for night time used if required .Externally the clock case is oak and to its front it has a typical Art Deco style silvered dial which displays Arabic numbers in a cut out rectangular chapter ring and also decorative hands to its centre, the dial is covered by a slightly convex glass sat in a rectangular chrome bezel.
The clock measures 29cm in length, 22cm high and 11cm deep, internally the movement is happily ticking away it is stamped with the German Haller company trademark.
