Description
SoapOcracy HAF Club is a unique and exciting holiday programme specially designed for creative children and young people who would like to learn how to handcraft bodycare products such as bath bombs, body scrubs and lip balms.
SoapOcracy Holiday Club: Tuesday 30th December 2025
Ages 5 - 11 years (10am - 2pm)
Ages 12 - 16 years (2.30pm - 6.30pm)
Children and young people will enjoy using natural ingredients like oats, essential oils and herbs alongside fun additions like skin-friendly glitter and candy-floss flavouring to create products with the look, feel and smells they prefer. They will also learn how handcrafting bodycare products contributes to improving physical and mental health and saves the environment.
They will experience 3 different workshops:
Product Making: Handcrafting products using natural and recognisable ingredients (e.g. salts, oats, essential oils, butters, herbs), with freedom to choose the look, feel and smell of their products.
Sustainability: Learning about the bodycare industry’s environmental, wildlife and people impact and how to tackle damages with more eco-conscious practices (e.g. less packaging).
Wellbeing: Learning properties of key ingredients (e.g. emollients, humectants, occlusives) and exploring benefits for skin (e.g. clear acne), body (e.g. reduce inflammation) and mental health (e.g. boost relaxation).
Children and young people will also engage in 60 minutes of unstructured and informal outdoor play with other children.
