Experienced Mathematics Tutor - Berkhamsted - A Level GCSE – Now Accepting New Students

I am a fully qualified Mathematics teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching in high-performing and outstanding schools across the UK. I hold a BSc in Mathematics (2:1) from the University of London and completed my PGCE at the Institute of Education (UCL IOE), one of the world’s leading institutions for teacher training.

I began my career in an outstanding central London school, where I spent five years contributing to some of the highest value-added results for Maths in the country. I currently teach at a high-performing secondary school in Hertfordshire, where I have helped secure year-on-year improvements in Mathematics grades for the past five years.

I offer expert tuition at:

✔ A-Level / Key Stage 5 – Mathematics and Further Mathematics

In addition to my teaching experience, I have spent eight years as an Edexcel GCSE Higher Examiner, giving me valuable insight into how marks are awarded and what students must do to maximise their attainment in exams.

My tutoring approach:
 I prioritise getting students actively engaged in problem-solving. Through carefully selected questions, I encourage them to demonstrate their understanding, ask questions freely, and develop strong independent thinking. While they work, I provide live, tailored feedback to strengthen their grasp of key concepts, refine exam skills, and build confidence.
