Selling on behalf of my other half, Cassie.

This advert is for her 1.4 petrol Citroen C3, which she affectionately calls 'Cilla'.

Cilla has broken down.

Here's the story:

In March, Cilla went in to TK Motors in Ayr, to have a minor oil leak fixed; this slight leak was coming from the rocker cover gasket area.

However, whilst at the garage, Cilla refused to start!

The garage tried some basics, such as replacing spark plugs.

But still she would not start.

Since then, the garage has had the car constantly, and has tried various things to get her going, including sending away one or more electronic components to have checked / re-programmed or somesuch.

But still she will not start!

And still she remains in the garage, seven months later.

Excellent MOT history, albeit now expired, with no serious advisories; good tyres etc, car has never been welded, good cosmetic condition.

Drove perfectly prior to going into the garage. You'll see from looking up the MOT history online that she has low mileage... HOWEVER, the mileage has somehow jumped up by approximately 100,000 miles since the last MOT! Presumably some electronic cause, as it has not of course done 100,000 miles in the course of a few months.


Cilla is still at TK Motors in Ayr; I'm sure the mechanics would be happy with a prospective buyer having a look at it there, but we've arranged for her to be recovered home to us this Friday (7th November)...we live in Alloway, in Ayr.

Could be an easy fix for somebody with the relevant knowledge, time and resources; if not, could be a good source of parts for someone. Certainly seems like far too good a car to simply scrap.
