Nigel Cade had been servicing &
Sweeping Woodburning & multifuel stoves in the City of Ely, Cambridge & Newmarket surrounding Towns and villages for 15 Years.

Together with supplying & installing Woodburning / Multifuel / Pellet stoves with either Stainless Steel Liner or building Twin wall Insulated Chimney Systems if the customer does not have a working chimney.

Sweeps & Services cost from
£110.00 plus replacement parts if required.

In order to secure a date and time the standard fee of £110 will be required to confirm a booking if you are not one of my customers I have already installed a Stove for in the past.

After the completion of the Sweep a HETAS SWEEP certificate will be issued for your insurance purposes and confirmation of the work done.

The final bill may be more if there are parts required and a second trip is required to fit parts such as replacement Glass fire rope or fire bricks (vermiculite).

From £80.00 for a second site visit & Labour Charge.

After the Sweep and service has been completed on the stove and The Stove passes a smoke Draw test Number 2 and the inspection that the installation complies with all the HETAS , Building regulations and manufacturers installation instructions such as for example distances to combustible materials, Hearth requirements age and condition of the installation.

Should your installation not comply with these regulations or fail a smoke Draw 2 test then a warning notice may be issued depending upon the severity of the issue highlighted.

If the issue can be easily rectified, I would give you a quote or estimate to put right or suggestion to go back to the original installers of the appliance highlighting the issues to request for them to address the problem or problems.

Should you become one of my regular an annual Chimney Sweep customers and there are no issues with the installation then a deposit will not be required and a bill will be issued after the annual service and Chimney Sweep and payment is required within 7 days.
