Vintage Ottoman/Laundry Basket
Chiswick, London
1 / 3
Description
Mid-Century D-shaped laundry basket ottoman. Lloyd Loom style with a lightly woven body in a classic soft gold/gilt tone, finished with an elegant braided trim.
The top features a padded, hinged lift-up lid upholstered in a muted sage-green patterned fabric, making it sturdy enough to serve as a dressing table stool or a small bathroom seat while hiding away linens or clutter.
• Design: Space-saving D-shape / flat-back profile (sits perfectly flush against a wall or corner).
• Color: Soft gold weave with a pale sage green upholstered top.
• Versatility: Ideal for a vintage-inspired bedroom or bathroom; works wonderfully as a linen hamper, toy chest, blanket storage, or vanity seat.
• Condition: In good vintage condition with a sturdy frame and functioning hinges. Showing some light, authentic age-related wear to the weave and trim which gives it great character (please see photos).
Perfect as a standalone retro piece or as a fun upcycling project if you wish to repaint the wicker or recover the cushion!
