Description
Oak Multi-Drawer Apothecary Cabinet Vintage Index Drawers Wine Storage On Stand
This beautiful vintage card catalogue cabinet, in good condition, has a great apothecary or haberdashery style look and is ready for use. Originally used in libraries to store index cards, it can be used around the home for a variety of storage purposes - we have seen it used to store wine bottles! We have had new drawer bottoms made, as the original bottoms are not solid, these are not stuck in so can be removed as required. It is made of solid oak, with a lovely colour and grain throughout. The cabinet features three rows of six drawers, for a total of 18 drawers, each with its original brass handles and label holder. The drawers are constructed with quality dovetail joints, and the cabinet stands on a sturdy base with legs. There are some age-related marks and light scratches in places throughout. Please refer to the photos for full details of condition, as they form part of the description. Please note, some of these photos are taken in reasonably bright sunlight, this piece may not be as bright and golden in other lights.
Approximate measurements are 31 7/8" (81cm) tall, 38 1/2" (98cm) wide and 17" (43.5cm) deep. The drawers measure approximately 5 ⅛” (13cm) wide, 14 ¼” (36cm) long and 1 ⅝” (4cm) deep (on the sides of the drawers).
