Description

Champion Silver Blue Bengal (often associated with BEN a 22 in pedigree coding) is a striking, rare, and genetically unique variation of the breed. They possess a, near-white to steel-grey base coat produced by the inhibitor gene ("I") that eliminates warm brown/gold tones, contrasted by dramatic blue-grey or charcoal spots, rosettes, or marble patterns, generally paired with striking green or hazel eyes.

Description and Characteristics
* Color & Coat: The background ranges from a pale ivory/white to a cool steel-gray. The pattern (spots or marbled) is a soft blue-gray to deep charcoal. The coat is short, dense, and feels like a luxurious pelt, often featuring "glitter".
* Patterns: They can be spotted (rosetted) or marble. High contrast between the dark markings and the light background is highly desirable.
* Eyes: Usually green, hazel, or sometimes amber, providing a sharp contrast to the cool tones of the coat.
* Appearance: They are medium-to-large, athletic, and muscular cats, often described as having a "wild" look, with a relatively small head and thick, low-carried tail.
* Distinctions: They may feature "tarnish" (a warm/rusty color) which is generally considered a fault. They often have black or dark grey paw pads and a dark grey to black tail tip.

* Unique Genetic Basis
* The silver coloring is not a color but a lack of it, driven by the inhibitor gene which turns a traditional brown/blue cat's warm pigmentation into a stark white or silver.

* Active and Intelligent: Bengals are highly active, playful, and intelligent cats that thrive on interaction.
* Affectionate: Known to be gentle and affectionate with their owners, despite their exotic, wild appearance.

* ✔️ GCCF registration
* ✔️ Both vaccinations completed
* ✔️ Wormed and de-flead
* ✔️ Fully litter trained
* ✔️ Eating and drinking well
