Description
KITCHEN ASSISTANT & CLEANER
Due to increased bookings an additional kitchen assistant is required within a small catering company. MUST have actual kitchen experience, NOT front of house; be able to cook & prep ingredients. Duties include cleaning and organisation of the kitchen, receiving stock etc. Knowledge of hygiene is essential. You must speak and understand written and spoken English, be able to work alone and with others. Must also be punctual and reliable.
This role involves assisting with the preparation of a variety of dishes, including those containing pork and beef. Applicants should be comfortable handling all types of ingredients used in our menus.
The position is regular and permanent; you will be contracted as self-employed / a freelancer and not employed by the company.
Usual hours 7am/8am - 1pm; occasionally earlier and may include some weekends. Immediate start. 12.50 per hour.
Kitchen is Located in Limehouse, East London. Ideally you live local to this area.
