Senneh rug, north west Persia, circa 1920s-30s, 6ft. 3in. x 4ft. 5in. 1.91m. x 1.35m. Spots of old moth damage to corners and edges top end; otherwise, even pile. Ivory step-side field with inner terracotta medallion with dark blue centre; dark blue spandrels; all over herati design; narrow terracotta angular floral main border; dark blue flowerhead guards. Soft handle.
