We offer carpentry and joinery with years of hands-on experience from straightforward builds to custom, design-led work.
A lot of what we do starts with panels. MDF is one of our main materials: it is versatile, takes detail well, and keeps the price reasonable. We use it for wall panelling, sofa surrounds, feature walls, shaped elements, and other custom pieces that are more interesting than off-the-shelf furniture.
The work is not always simple. We cut unusual shapes, mix designs, and often add lighting so the finished piece looks considered rather than just fitted.
Everything can be built individually and to a high standard the price depends on that. I don’t take a huge fixed fee for a big job. I charge by the hour.
If you want it really high quality — neat, solid, no visible gaps — it will cost more. That often means going over things more than once: rework, paint, install, adjust until it looks clean.
You can also go for a solid mid-level finish. It still looks good, feels individual and decent just not at the “every tiny detail” level. That’s cheaper.
So it comes down to how much quality you want and how much time (and money) you’re ready to put in. That’s convenient for you: you choose the level.
If you’re picky about every small gap or mark, expect more hours and a higher price. Quality follows the time spent on the work.
It’s also very helpful if you already know the sizes and the design.

If I have to invent the design on site and use my own creativity on the spot, it takes more hours. A lot of the work then is just figuring things out right there. That’s a plus in one way, but it also eats up time.

If you already have a photo or a rough idea, send it. We can also work from an AI-generated image or a reference you like and adapt it into something we can actually build.
We also fit kitchens and cabinets from different suppliers (including stores in the B&Q / similar retail range), so you can combine shop-bought units with custom joinery.
You can also come to my apartment and see the work in person. It is a lived-in show flat: the designs are already built in, so you can walk through, look at the details, and judge the level of the work for yourself.
