Live-in Dementia Carer & Companion

£500–£600/week + FREE Accommodation

We are looking for a kind, patient and friendly live-in carer/companion to support a 58 year old gentleman with FTD in his own home in Sutton.

This isn't continuous care all day. It's a flexible live-in arrangement, with help particularly needed at important points throughout the day and periods of personal/free time in between.

The role includes:

Helping with washing/showering, dressing and grooming
Toileting and personal hygiene
Medication support
Preparing meals and drinks
Help around mealtimes
Morning and bedtime routines
Companionship
Taking him for walks, coffee/lunch and outings
Doing enjoyable activities together
Accompanying him to appointments when needed
Helping him maintain his independence and routine
Providing reassurance and keeping him safe and comfortable

We're particularly looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy spending time with him, rather than simply completing care tasks.

£500-600 a week depending on experience, plus your own bedroom and free accomodation, food while working and one full day off each week.

Dementia/care experience preferred. FTD experience would be a bonus but isn't essential.
