A lovely household based in Totteridge are seeking an experienced and caring full time live out housekeeper / carer / cook to support an elderly couple with the day-to-day running of their home. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone kind, proactive and highly organised, who can provide both practical household support and companionship.

The ideal candidate will be warm, dependable and able to maintain high standards throughout the home while also preparing fresh meals and assisting the couple as needed. A confident driver is essential for this role. Candidates who speak Spanish or French would be highly appreciated, although this is not essential. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.

Duties include:

general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised home
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals
providing companionship and day-to-day support for the couple
running errands and assisting with appointments when required
driving the clients as needed
liaising with contractors or external services when necessary
ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently

Salary to be discussed at the interview
