EXPEIENCED DOUBLE UP CARER WANTED TO JOIN MY CARE TEAM IN NORTHOLT

Experienced care worker wanted to double up with and support the 12hr main day shift worker to help during the busiest time of the day. From 10am to between 4pm/6pm. Available days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

I am a very disabled woman with Motor Neurone Disease, complex needs I need help with everything. Personal care, eating and drinking and giving me my eyegaze device I use with my eyes to communicate, send emails, shop, read or listen to books.

I love films, cinema, theatre, shopping even on online. If you can drive, it's an added bonus because I have an accessible vehicle.

Experience is essential, there is a lot to learn. Give me medication in bed, hoist me into power chair. Go to bathroom, brush teeth, wash face and hands. Hoist me on the toilet and back to chair. Give me eyegaze device.

You will mainly deal with me throughout the day supporting the main 12hr day carer, but there are other required tasks, like housework, Preparation for cooking. Ironing, washing.

Must be open minded with a can do attitude. Must be fit, the position requires lots of standing

Pay is reduced during training and the trial period and whether or not you can drive.

After your training and trial period, you will be offered a PAYE Contract, when both parties are happy.

You will need a current DBS and the right to work and the right to remain in the UK.
