Description
purpose of position
to share with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence when living in the community.
main duties:
to support service users to achieve maximum independence in daily living skills
to support service users with personal hygiene , medication support, nutrition and hydration- preparing meals and feeding
house hold tasks, light domestic duties
mobility and safety, maintaining a safe home environment
companionship and errands such as shopping or attending appointments
treating service users with kindness, respect and dignity
