Otterpool rambles over six private and secluded acres where the holiday homes are placed in a large circle overlooking the pond, where otters have been spotted, while swans, geese, ducks, herons and coots visit daily. Deer, rabbits and hares graze on hawthorn tips and seasonal crab apples.

This holiday home features: modern kitchen appliances, mains gas central heating, new combi boiler (June 2024) and a washing machine (plumbed, in storage box outside), two wcs and a shower room. Sleeping spaces are, one double room (en-suite), one spare room/den and a pullout bed in the main living area. With a big comfy lounge and spacious central kitchen/diner, this is a cosy retreat nestled in a quiet corner. The large sunny decking area (over 200 sq.ft) is ideal for yoga, sunbathing, entertaining or, simply relaxing.

Brighouse Bay Holiday Park in South West Scotland is like no other; no serried ranks of uniform boxes here. A family owned, pet-friendly, 365 days park set next to its own beach on a secluded peninsula. Driving past the bay, you don't even know it's there, hidden behind the shoreline woods. The park has areas divided by the use of drystone dykes, trees and shrubbery which complement the beautiful natural surroundings. A ten-minute stroll takes you through woodland paths to the sandy beach, while breathtaking clifftop paths surround the golf course.

The leisure club has: a heated indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and toddlers' pool, a lounge bar and cafe with free Wi-Fi. The park includes: 9 and 18-hole golf courses, children’s outdoor play areas, family pitch and putt, pony trekking, pump track and mountain bike trails. (Holiday home owners are eligible for discounted golf membership). The licensed shop sells all the everyday essentials.
