Due to health issues, we have decided to sell our beloved ABI Westwood lodge. This model is well known for setting the standard in luxury holiday home design and one of the largest and highest specification models at the park.
Located in the picturesque and peaceful village of Swainby, it's an ideal location for long walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside - situated right next to the North York Moors. The park site is pet friendly and serves as an idyllic quiet retreat. The serene surroundings and laid back atmosphere allow for limitless holidays away, with all the benefits of being members of an exclusive small family run park.
Swainby offers a convenient village store, coffee shop, historic church, and two popular pubs with large beer gardens. There is also a children's play area and bus stop. Many walking trails exist offering spectacular views of the countryside and access to a renowned national park. A gentle stream runs through the village with plenty of seating to sit and relax, adding to the ambience of this area of outstanding natural beauty. Thankfully, the holiday park is not located in any flood zones so there are no concerns about heavy rain.
The park benefits from being owner only, therefore people onsite are warm and friendly without the worry of others spoiling any time spent away. Northallerton and Stokesly are both conveniently a short drive - 10 and 6 miles respectively - with their markets, shops and services.
Unlike most holiday homes, this is a residential specification lodge ensuring the insulation, wall thickness and build quality/materials comply with the BS3632 standards. As such, it is suitable to for even the coldest of months with full thermostat controlled central heating using plumbed in metered propane gas - no inconvenient gas bottles are required. The park is also open 12 months of the year with no shutdown period, unlike most other holiday parks.
The luxury lodge has been meticulously maintained and incorporates a modern design. Fully furnished along with the usual kitchen appliances, it is also fitted with the full array of optional extras such as a signal boosted large digital aerial, full external decking, dishwasher, washing machine, internet router and a built in bluetooth speaker system. The sofa folds out to serve as a double bed and therefore it is possible to sleep 6 people comfortably.
