Description
VW Type 1 air-cooled engine removed from a 1970 Beetle due too EV conversion
Engine number listed on V5 as AB042538. Originally a 1300cc case, now running later dual port heads and top end. Alternator fitted with doghouse cooling. Single carb setup. Standard heat exchangers and exhaust.
Engine was running perfectly prior to removal as seen in video but has not been tested since being taken out. Capacity unknown. Sold as pictured, including tinware and ancillaries shown. has been stored in damp garage hence suface rust
Ideal replacement engine or rebuild base.
