Rare capri cam cover to fit 1.6L mk1 mx5 Miata

Description

VERY RARE Mercury Capri 1.6 91-94 cam cover that also fits Mazda 1.6 mk1 mx5 miata eunos roadster and gives a different look with exposed cam pulleys.

This will only fit the 1.6 engine from mk1 NA that has cam angle sensor on rear of engine head. You will also need to do some additional modifications to fit.

Imported from US just over 2 years ago and refurbished with black wrinkle paint.

I had coil on plug conversion fitted to my engine and some small parts of the wrinkle paint lifted off under the plate when removing, now touched in with black paint, cannot be seen if you use COP with same type plate I used.

If using standard ignition leads & coil pack you will need to make up a bracket to hold the unit at rear of head. Also you will need to modify your venting to suit. I just used small filters on the cover and blocked off the manifold.
