Offered here is this Single Used Genuine Land Rover Series 3 Burman Steering Box Casing

These are the actual parts which will be supplied.

A bare Aluminium Casing in Cast Aluminium bearing the embossed 'Burman' - manufactured for Land Rover. Complete as shown for RHD models and ready to be re-built/reconditioned with your existing internal parts. Includes the main output shaft with good splines and nut to accept your steering arm. All the covers and bolts are included, along with the pair of bolts used with threaded inserts on the casing and a pair of large nuts and bolts to secure the box to the OS vertical bulkhead plate.

There are stamps on the casing and the silver disc on the side plate with the adjuster states 'B 10-244 ROVER NRC 5960'

This would be ideal if your casing has sustained damage, perhaps fractured lugs due to 'over tightening' or the inserts have come away from within the casing. Either way, this would be a cheaper option than to source a full assembly?
