Ideal for larger vehicles, estate car, SUV, VW Transporter etc, the Thule North Cape roof box is a long, high capacity, but discrete roof box with a very low profile, which can remain permanently fitted to your vehicle without adversely affecting vehicle performance like some taller boxes can. The entire roof box has been lowered by design to achieve unity with your car's own form and to help with aerodynamics and wind resistence.

This North Cape roof box is Black and so blends with any vehicle colour. It features quick snap mountings (kept inside the box), dual side opening for access from each side of the vehicle, and central locking to keep your belongings safe and secure. Featuring Thule's One Key System so all your Thule products can be changed to operate with the same key. 2 keys supplied.
The extra long length of the North Cape is ideal for estate cars or SUV's, even vans and is ideal for protecting expensive ski or snow board equipment. The North Cape can safely transport up to 7 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards. Ski carrier, straps included.
This practical and useful travel accessory frees up space for the vehicle occupants making journeys more comfortable and safer. The contents of the box are kept safe and protected in its weatherproof ABS shell and are still conveniently available without having to remove other items from a packed boot or back seat area.

Thule -Lift Garage storage winch (as shown) also available at extra cost to keep your roof box conveniently attached to the garage ceiling or beams so the box is easily raised or lowered onto the roof of your vehicle when required. The storage winch makes ideal use of otherwise wasted space in the garage above your vehicle. It ensures the storage of your large roof box doesn't take up other valuable space and the box is protected away from accidental damage.

The North Cape is no longer produced by Thule. The nearest low profile Thule roof box with similar capacity and specification would be the Vector L, RRP £1499

This North Cape roof box is in excellent used condition and has only been used for 2 family holidays, being stored as shown on its storage lift since. NB The marks at the front seen on one of the photos are of dried water from being wiped with a cloth and will rinse off.

NB The roof box attaches via clamps to most vehicle roof bars but roof bars are not included.
