Description
This bespoke trailer was built by a motor engineer specifically for his requirements , firstly as a 4' long x 3' wide box trailer and with it's removable front and rear panels it's been used to transport a 750cc motorcycle with tie down points.
The wheels are 10" classic mini with 10" tyres I purchased probably over 16 years ago so although travelled less than 60 miles are starting to crack in the deep treads. But hold air well.
The wheels are mounted on indispension units.
The trailer has been in storage for a while, where I replaced the wooden box with 10mm ply.
I made a bolt-in module that enables the trailer to carry 4 bicycles, currently stored in a dry brick shed that has only been used twice from memory.
The rear light lens are 1970's classic mini pick up lens one has a small crack
unfortunately.
The number plate illumination light needs replacing as the lens has been lost.
The hitch is in good condition and worked well the last time it was used.
There are a selection of lay in boards to spread the carrying load, also 10mm ply.
I'm only selling as I no longer have my towing vehicle and I rather someone else gets to use this handy light weight trailer.
