VW T2 Bay 1971

Description

This rare stunning 1971 T2 bay walk through camper van has been previously restored to a lovely standard , I’ve just kept well on top and just spent over £1000 on a bit of bodywork/ paintwork. It’s now in top condition for its age.
Although its tax and mot exempt Ive alway kept the mot’s up to date. With a new one carried out 20/9/24 going strait through with no advisory's.

When I purchased the van I was told that there was only 3 in the country with the same interior so a rare one with stunning original wood and plenty of storage.
It’s got 7 seats , cupboards and a table . It makes a lovely day van , we take it camping and makes a good set up with a tent .

The van is ready to go with 67,000 on the clock but not sure of actual mileage but it’s never bothered me as it’s been very reliable.

It’s got a nice new set of wheels and a brand new spare , upgraded suspension and brakes, I’ve just had the brake pads replaced , only because they were a tad noisy .and a new stereo with a USB port .

I have a folder full of history, to much to list.

As soon as I saw this van I had to have it even without test driving it , so I will happily take whoever is interested on a test drive,but I will drive .
