I am selling my beloved VW van, which I have owned and cared for around 15 years.
I’m probably your typical over-the-top VW owner! The van has always been kept clean and tidy, both inside and out, and when not in use it sits on our drive under a breathable cover, which will also be included in the sale.

Around five years ago, I updated the seats and redesigned the interior to create more of a practical and comfortable ‘day van’. I primarily use it for solo MTB rides and solo sleeping, but due to the pop-top roof design there is also the option for a new owner to fit a bed in the roof space if required.

Of course, given the age of the van, there are a few things that any prospective buyer should be aware of, and I will be completely open and honest about these. However, there are far more positives to this van. It is in great condition for its age, drives beautifully and has been an absolute pleasure to own.

I have always taken maintenance seriously, with the oil and filters typically changed annually. I have also taken a proactive approach to maintenance, replacing parts when signs of wear have appeared rather than waiting for them to become a problem. 

It genuinely drives extremely well. The MOT history is also a good reflection of how the van has been cared for, with it consistently passing over the years without any significant issues, aside from the occasional replacement of normal wear-and-tear items you would expect with a vehicle of this age.

* Personalised number plate, which I have left the details and would encourage any interested buyers to use the DVLA MOT Checking service to see how good this van is - It only ever failed on small things like the bulbs and tyres I had not noticed. This is a truly great engine and reliable van!
* 2.5 diesel engine
* Rear tailgate with original OEM VW 4 x bike mount.
* 80,324 Miles
* 2 owners since registration.
* Oil and filters changes every year. Most resent was in June 2026. All receipts are kept to show history.
* Apple Car play & Android Auto stereo. Includes USB, Bluetooth, DAB radio and reversing camera capabilities. Hands Free car kit installed as part of the set up.
* Uprated Speakers (mids and tweeters) with insulated doors aid the sound quality.
* Fitted towbar (with all paperwork from professional fitting with electrics).
* Fitted driving camera (which turns on when the ignition starts)

Bespoke customer made interior: Conversion Details:
* Pop roof with zip up window. This is where a bed could also be retro fitted by someone who can make the slates work. Can be discussed at a viewing.
* Thule 4200 Awning with Multi Rail bracket AND full sides and front kit with extras which I also bought - can be seen on viewings.
* Solid Oak tops and shelves with custom storage
* Internal Power Management System (PMS) 240v / 12v power supply for lights and USB access. Ran off a L36-AGM Yuasa Active Leisure Battery 95AH. External 240v connected for hock-up and/or charging.
* Custom made red leather captain swivel seats with gold stitch and matching red leather arm rests (on both sides). These seats alone cost £4300 (receipt available)
* Custom made red leather gear gator and leather door card inserts to match seats.
* Swivel Table with 2 changeable locations (see pics).
* Reimo front windscreen blinds (fitted into the pillars) for quick magnetic closure coverage.
* Custom made magnetic blinds for cab windows for quick and easy full black out in seconds.
* Custom made insulated black out blinds thought rear (2 side and tailgate windows). Outside facing white (for heat reflection) and red facing on the inside (matching the seats)
* Dometic 11L Water tank (jug) with Dometic GO Hydration battery powered Foset (can be easily removed for cleaning and external use if needed)

* Internal Storage units which has access via the back with a long draw (see pics). This is for easy access when parked, or can be accessed from inside the van (say when it’s raining)

So the bits you must know on the sale
* There is an issue with the internal air blower system. It currently only blows on the windows and / or feet. I have the cable needed to reconnect all this but the new buy will need to find a mechanic to get into the death and correctly fit it.
* There are some signs of surface rust in a few places. Kinda of expected to its age but they are so small, it’s only found when looking and I’m sure easy to deal with if needed.
* The pop roof has some marks and a small tear to the vented mesh area. This do not affect waterproofing. Best seen in person to understand but I will also say that I have never (in all my time with the van) used the pop roof in the rain. It’s been commented on before how good condition it’s in - I think I would just prefer it to be perfect.
