Reluctantly selling 1997 VW T4, with a full Bilbo professional factory conversion. A solid, genuine camper that needs a little TLC.
The van: 1997 VW T4, petrol, Dragon Green Metallic finish, manual gearbox, 122,000 miles (MOT history). Body is in good shape for its age, a couple of minor scratches on the boot and some paint flaking on the pop top roof, but structurally sound throughout.
The conversion: Full Bilbo factory conversion, sleeps 4. Pop top roof with sleeping platform, rock and roll bed, shore power hook-up (240v), Carver P4 heating, Electrolux Fridge, 3 x gas hob, sink, leisure battery, plenty of storage, swivel passenger seat, 2 Pivot Tables, lighting, leisure battery, fresh & waste water tanks for off-grid.
Extras: Fiamma bike rack, fly screens, shore power cable, thermal window screens (silver reflective — full set), awning, original Celeste owners handbook and manuals.
MOT: Failed February 2026 on emissions only —nothing structural, no advisories on bodywork or chassis. Probable exhaust and/or catalytic converter needed. Everything else on the van was fine. Priced accordingly.
