History: Previously an ambulance/patient carrier, FULL SERVICE HISTORY AVAILABLE - this van has only been owned privately by myself, previously a full working order patient carrier from 2013-2020 at Bristol Ambulance Fleet, as well as several periods of non-use, including from 2020-2022 where I was building and upgrading and the van was not in use, since then I have used it for several long and short camping trips.

PAST FIXES / UPGRADES:
- pneumatic suspension removed and replaced with (sturdier) double leaf spring suspension
- Fixed emf electrical issue (worth £800)
- REFURBISHED ENGINE - the vehicle was fitted with a refurbished engine during use by Bristol Ambulance Fleet before being decommissioned to be replaced with the new Citroen vans, this reduces the impact of the mileage
- recently changed CAM belt

CAMPER DETAILS:
- Sleeps: 2 (1900mm x 1300mm double bed) with tailor-made comfy mattress cushions w/ memory foam layer
- Bed/Table: double bed easily converts to a table which comfortably seats x4 but can seat up to x6 (sizeable table, great for meals but also perfect size for large board games and other uses)
- Skylights: original pop up skylight (fitted by Bristol Ambulance Fleet) + new adjustable rear skylight above bed with fly net and twistable opening handle
- Insulation: mix of high-grade Actis Hybrid insulation and camper-grade stuffing insulation, all gaps were well filled before cladding making the space very well insulated.
- Retractable step

AMENITIES:
- Running water w/ electric pump, clean and waste tanks
- Double gas hob with safety valve and Calor gas box
- Extractor fan above the hob, powerful and keeps cooking smells out well, and also helps on hot days to draw air through
- Huge amount of storage, 8x overhead lockers, 2x cupboard storage, 2x storage drawers, 2x wheel arch lockers, coat hanger, boot storage and overhead storage.
- 12v fridge (power draw is no match for the solar and this can be left on constantly)
- Portable toilet: a portable chemical toilet with easily cleanable removable septic tank

POWER:
- Victron 150W solar panel fitted to roof, 12v leisure battery with space for a second (never been required while I’ve used it). A 240v converter could be easily added to the existing electrical setup but I have never required it.
- Use of Victron app to measure and view solar input direct Bluetooth connection to solar interface
- 2x double usb ports for phone charging, appliances etc.

LIGHTING:
- 4x spot/down lights
- Strip lighting above/below worktops
- Reading light

OVERVIEW:
This van is a beloved project, put together by myself (architect) and my grandfather (carpenter) and served me for some amazing trips around the U.K. It’s in great condition and I’m selling because I am moving to Australia, and unfortunately she can’t come with me!
I am extremely sad to be selling this van but unfortunately I also need the money to support my move, so it’s the only choice I have. It is more than capable to support long-term living as well as long or short trips, the insulation keeps it very warm all through the winter (tried and tested in the snowy Brecons and Scotland!) and very comfortable in the summer too.
The mileage is comparatively high (251,000) however this was pre-installation of a new engine, and subsequent CAM belt change, and the parts themselves have been largely replaced, improved and/or upgraded. The vehicle still uses industrial grade tyres which are in great condition, and it has a recent MOT pass (March 2025), with one advisory to replace right front CV boot which was done.
It’s built with practical use in mind, and has at times hosted up to 3 people sleeping, and up to 6 people sheltering, cooking, eating and board gaming on the rainiest trips. Pine wood cladding and mdf cabinets, pine table and ply bed frame and cabinet frames.

POTENTIAL CHANGES/FIXES:
- Shower space: I was going to fit a shower in place of the current coat cupboard but decided I didn’t actually need one, this could be easily refitted for future use if required.
- Diesel heater: when I purchased the van, the only missing part was the diesel heater which was transferred to the new Citroen ambulances, I never replaced this as I never actually needed anything more than a small camp heater, but this could be easily added if needed.
- Front cab usb: the original usb ports in the front cab don’t work, could be as simple as replacing the port, but never really needed to myself, can run a phone charger from the new rear usb if needed.
- Front cab passenger window: only annoying thing is the electrics need tweaking on the front passenger window which currently can only be opened by the driver side button, never got around to this, but either way not an essential fix
