Description

Ford Thames 400e Dormobile by Martin Waller in 1961. This vehicle is in really good condition to say it is 65 yrs old. The underneath was professionally undersealed 2 yrs ago, the chassis is solid and all the panels are solid with tiny bits of surface rust but nothing serious. The 1703cc engine has 125psi on all cylinders, a new carburettor,water pump,plug and plug leads, new coil and electronic ignition, been converted to alternator and unleaded petrol. Front and back lights are LED and l have kept all original parts. Wheels and bumpers shot blasted and powder coated. New tyres. On the roof at the front near the gutter is a rust bubble and one on the driver's door. The interior l have had to rebuild and could be done better, l made new interior panels and covered them with stick on vynil but this year's hot summer has made it go wrinkly. New windscreen rubber. Small patch on drivers seat and two rear seats have slight scuff marks on corner. Roof in good condition and no holes in. It's not in concourse condition but still worth driving to shows, and with a bit of weekend work could be a winner. I live near Wakefield if you wish to view
