2018 Ford Transit Custom - Camper

Here is our converted 2018 Ford Transit Custom which we are reluctantly selling due to lack of use.

This is not a traditional rock and roll bed and kitchen conversion, instead has a custom made Uberwagon bed/drawer system. This van has the versatility of being a Campervan, but also an excellent everyday vehicle with 6 seats with the removal Ford Tourneo rear seats fitted.

The conversion includes:

To the exterior

- Roof Rails and Bars
- Ford Raptor Grille
- Side Steps
- Powder coated original wheels in black with ceramic coat
- Cooper Discoverer AT3 Tyres (all 4 with over 8mm tread)
- Detachable tow-bar and OEM electrics

Interior

- Uberwagon custom CNC pod system, fixed side panels either storage, removal top and drawer system (rated to 250kg)
- Additional demountable table
- Ford Tourneo 3 rear seats, which can be fully removed. 2 outer seats with isofix
- 2 x bike holders in central rail
- Kiravan door storage system in both rear sides
- 15mm super king memory foam mattress cut to size and covered in a thick heavy duty fabric.
- Fully sound deadened using Dodo Dean Hex pro
- Fully insulated using Dodo thermal liner pro
- All finished with thick 4 way stretch carpet throughout.
- Captains swivel seat to passenger bench.

- 54L underslung water tank with Whale 3 bar pressure pumped shower
- 240v electric hook up
- Renogy 12v leisure battery with Bluetooth
- Full Ford Dealer Service history, bar 1. Last serviced in August 2025.
- Wet Belt changed at 82k miles in March 2025
- Front disks and pads changed in March 2025
- Booked in with Ford for an MOT on the 17th March

Currently 85100 miles, this will vary slightly but not vastly as the vehicle is not in use every day.

We have a Coleman Journeyman XL poles awning and other camping equipment we would consider selling with the van.

We’ve had a great few years out of this van, having travelled around France, Belgium and Holland the past 2 years. We’ve discovered some amazing places and it’s been great for our 2 small children.

The rear drawer holds loads and is really useful, easy to put the bikes in and out. The bed is the full width of the van so there’s plenty of room, when not used as a bed with the seats down, you can fit full sheets of ply and mdf. Having had a traditional converted T5 previously, being able to use the van as a van to transport things is really useful. The shower is great for hosing down sandy feet or muddy wheels.

We’re selling as we have since bought a caravan and not using the van as a much as it deserves.
