Would be most grateful if you read my gumtree advert headed
“BOWLS WANTED MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION”
as it explains in detail why I have so many sets for sale.

Thank you to all who have given me lovely reviews as this is very much appreciated that you have taken the time and is a reassurance to anyone who understandably is apprehensive of paying by bank transfer when requiring courier delivery. This due to sadly the number of scammers who spoil it for genuine sellers.

Also I have a selection of bowls that I have still not had the time to advertise including a number of lower priced sets purchased well over a year ago that were purchased for new players who in my opinion should not purchase expensive bowls till sure they are happy with the size and bias.
So please enquire if none in the adverts are suitable.
I have a far to large selection of sizes 4 5 & 6 due to my lack of thought when I started obtaining sets and have only listed one set of 5’s and no 6’s yet. So “HELP” need bowlers with large hands to get in touch. 🥵😂🙏
Will try and get these additional sets added with the assistance of a friend ASAP.


Have decided to reduce my prices on all sets where practical as now aware I have purchased far to many sets in sizes 3 - 5 and still have only limited options in 0000 - 2 so need to have the finance to build a sensible mix of sizes in all the most popular selling bowls.
This venture has been very enjoyable but also very challenging and in life have always seemed to learn things the hard way but will hopefully eventually get it right.🥵

Have now decided to offer courier delivery due to the number of potential lost sales when offering collection only.
I am able to offer same for £7.50 but sadly due to past scam attempts can only accept bank transfer in advance of sending.

I am more than willing to allow potential buyer to view on FaceTime or WhatsApp as extra reassurance bowls are in condition advertised if required.
This set of bowls as can be seen are in excellent condition as they have been very well cared for.
They were bought on behalf of a friend some time ago who planned to take up bowling but when he tried them decided he needed a smaller size.
They have been lying ever since along with other sets which I have purchased over the years and have only now got round to putting this set along with some others up for sale.

Due to recent changes in my personal circumstances have now decided to offer a wider range of size options than those used personally due to requests from some players in my club where I do voluntary coaching and others from other clubs who have since contacted me.

If you already have a set but wish to change model or size for any reason will also now offer a part exchange if the set are in decent condition.

I am very keen to encourage more of ALL generation’s to take up bowls as I did not start playing till aged 65 having being diagnosed aged 58 with severe arthritis in my knees.
Have very recently had a gentleman in his 90’s contacting me asking if I had a set of Almark Edge bowls as he had decided it was time for a change and am still searching two months later trying to find a set in his size anywhere.
But this just proved to me your never to old if you are lucky enough to stay fit.
The benefits apart from the fun and exercise has allowed me now in my mid 70’s to still enjoy this sport with the only regret I did not start playing from an early age.
So hopefully any one considering starting to play this great game reading this will be encouraged to give it a go as the benefits are endless.

As shown in my photos this set is in very good condition and clearly had very little use.Also listed what a used set of Taylor International bowls are for sale on EBay as a price guide.
With the current price for purchasing new being £395 with crescent grip my reduced asking price of £145 allows a massive saving of £250 against purchasing a new set as this set has the crescent grip and as shown in one photo this grip has an additional cost of £30.

Have also included a photo showing bias chart to allow you to see the difference in each model.
